Just back from a memorable trip to Spain, riding with Dust Devils Adventure Tours. Adventure being the operative word.
I got speaking with the Dust Devils crew at the bike show at the NEC in Birmingham, and knew there and then that I would definitely be booking up with a few friends to go out at the early start of the year.
We then booked the flights and headed out a few weeks later, where we were picked up at the airport and then driven to one of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in.
After a relaxing night we were picked up in the morning and driven to the Dust Devils HQ a short distance away, where we were introduced to the rest of the DD crew, and after a short safety briefing we were lead out to our immaculately prepared 2010 KTM enduro bikes.
The terrain that lay ahead can only be described as fantastic, with an excellent mixture of hill climbs, rocky river beds, fire breaks, woodland sections, river crossings, all nesting within stunning scenery in the mountains.
Each days riding was different, from the lunches to the ever changing terrain throughout the mountain range, with the only thing remaining the same was the fun factor, which got better with each day as we got more used to the bikes.
All in all the experience with Dust Devils can only be described as 1st class, with no room for improvement at all.
I would just like to say a big thanks to all involved at Dust Devils for a truly memorable adventure, and look forward to riding with you all again very soon.
After testing bikes in the UK in the typical British climate it was fantastic to be invited out to the Dust Devils enduro trail. From the moment we arrived at the Dust Devils HQ I knew this was going to be a memorable trip.
Clothing, bikes, helmet and boots, believe me I looked like a factory rider ! Once aboard my KTM 450 EXC I really did think I was David Knight. We were escorted by a first class guide up in to the mountains for more fun than you can possibly imagine.
From easy fire roads to snarly terrain it had it all. Lunch in a beautiful location and back down to a first class hotel for a few beers, this has to be my "best ever" riding trip.
